Joseph K. Stephen

Joseph StephenJoseph K Stephen received a Bachelor of Science from the Flinders University of South Australia in 1996, majoring in computer science. Despite being totally blind, he finished in the top 15% of students in his course, earning him the Golden Key Honors Society Award. Since his early teens, he has learned more than a dozen programming languages. For the past 14 years, he has worked as a Software Engineer in leading technology, developing software to enable hundreds of thousands of blind people around the world to use computers. He works from home where he helps his wife, Mary Florence, educate their seven children. More important than his ability as a programmer is his vision to see his progeny love and serve the Lord with diligence, obedience and faithfulness. Their family motto comes from Joshua 22:5 where Joshua exhorts the children of Israel

to take diligent heed, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

As Creationists, Joseph and Mary have started a family ministry, "Faithful Generations", to encourage Christians to return to the Scriptures for the foundations of the family, church and nation. Their mission is to nurture multi-generational faithfulness at a time when the church is losing its youth in droves after first losing its foundations. Joseph Stephen has written several books, including:

  • The Sufficiency of Scripture: The Key to Revival
  • The Perfect Programmer: A Christian Computer Programming Curriculum
  • Blindness, Braille and the Bible: A Christian Home Education Curriculum
  • More Than Meets the Eye: Vision in Verse
  • If a Picture Paints a Thousand Words: Give Your Child the Right Foundation for a Biblical World-view.

Joseph Stephen also wrote the poem, Creation vs. Evolution. Visit www.faithfulgenerations.com RETURN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
