Henri Darwin Rogers

Henry Darwin RogersHenry Darwin Rogers (1808-1866) was an American geologist well known for his detailed studies of the geology of the Appalachians and also of the coal fields of America and Great Britain. For the last nine years of his life, he was professor of natural history and philosophy at the University of Glasgow. He believed in the Biblical flood as of great geological significance and was one of the signers of the 1865 scientists' "Declaration" affirming the scientific integrity of Scripture.
